Have you been wondering where winter has been all season?

Tonight: Mostly clear and turning colder.

Lows: in the 20s | Wind: WNW 10-15 gusts to 20-25 mph

Thursday: Partly sunny and pleasant.

Highs: in the upper 40s | Wind: SW 5-10 mph

Friday: Partly sunny and milder.

Highs: in the lower 50s | Wind: SW 5-10 mph

A genuine cold snap is heading this way just in time for the new year. In the meantime though…it’s going to remain very pleasant with above average temperatures. Skies will remain clear overnight as high pressure pushes into the region and the winds will continue to slowly diminish. Morning temperatures will be in the 20 area-wide. Partly sunny skies are expected tomorrow , Friday and New Year’s Eve. A minor disturbance could produce a few showers late Friday night, overnight into Saturday morning. New Year’s Day will be partly to mostly cloudy with unseasonably mild temperatures. Highs on Sunday are forecast into the middle 50s. It will start turning colder on Monday and by Tuesday and Wednesday, high temperatures will only reach the middle 30s. Winter arrives a little behind schedule.
