Unseasonably mild air will be in place today ahead of a cold front that will cross the region later today and tonight. Some sunshine will be around in places this morning before giving way to increasing clouds later this afternoon. Winds will be a bit gusty out of the south/southwest at 10-15mph and gusts up to 20-30mph with daytime highs in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees.
This system doesn’t appear to have much moisture to work with however a few showers will be possible this afternoon and into the evening. Winds will remain breezy tonight and with partly cloudy skies overhead we be quite mild around 50 degrees.
An area of low pressure will ride along the frontal boundary which will stall just a bit to our south. We will be on the northern periphery of this low and again moisture is limited.
It’s possible that this low could produce a little light rain with a little snow mixed in Friday night with no accumulation expected and the areas more likely to see moisture would be to the south.
Ahead of this low Friday will feature some sunshine in the morning before additional clouds arrive during the afternoon hours. High pressure moves back into place over the weekend allowing for partly sunny skies Saturday and mostly sunny skies Sunday. Daytime highs each day will be seasonably cool in the mid-40s.
~ Have a good day!
