As expected, we saw very little in the way of sunshine today but it was still a pleasant day even with the overcast. Skies will remain cloudy tonight and temperatures will remain above freezing. A cold front will approach our area tomorrow afternoon bringing a chance for scattered showers. The front will be south of our area on Friday but skies will remain rather cloudy throughout the day and temperatures will start to turn a little cooler. An area of low pressure is forecast to develop along the front Friday night. This will keep skies cloudy and may also produce a few periods of rain south of the Washington area…we’ll keep an eye on that for you just in case it creeps a little farther northward. The weekend is still looking good. We’re calling for partly cloudy and seasonably cool weather on Saturday and Sunday with highs in the middle 40s.
