An area of low pressure and its associated cold front will bring clouds and areas of rain to the region today with unseasonably warm highs around 60 degrees. The rain will come to an end this evening with partial clearing overnight. Thursday we will be in between systems which will mean some morning sunshine will give way to increasing cloudiness by the afternoon with some showers developing during the afternoon and evening hours. The majority of the rain will fall Thursday night and wrap up early Friday morning. The Holiday weekend forecast remains a bit tricky especially regarding the next system that may impact the region Christmas Day. Christmas Eve looks quiet with partly sunny skies and highs near 50 degrees. Christmas Day will feature mostly cloudy skies and a 30% chance of rain with highs in the mid – upper 40s. Stay tuned for daily updates as we head into the weekend and we refine the forecast.
