A strong cold front is marking the leading edge of a colder and drier air mass. Clearing skies, gusty winds and falling temperatures are expected overnight. Strong winds headline our Wednesday forecast with winds gusting between 30 and 40 mph in spots. Partly sunny conditions are expected on Thursday and Friday with high temperatures ranging from the upper 40s to lower 50s. At this time, the New Year's weekend forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with temperatures slightly above seasonal averages and there is just a chance for a few showers.
