Sunny skies, light winds and cool temperatures have been the story of the day with highs in the mid 50s. Tonight will be cold once again with lows in the 20s through much of the suburbs to mid 30s inside the Beltway. The weekend ahead will start off sunny with highs near the 50 degree mark tomorrow. Sunday, a few high thin clouds will begin to stream overhead with highs a touch warmer in the mid to upper 50s.
Looking ahead to next week, a frontal system will approach from the west, bringing with it the chance for a few showers by late Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Highs Monday and Tuesday should approach the 60 degree mark, dropping into the 50s and upper 40s Wednesday through the end of the work week.
