We've recorded about one half inch of rain so far today, but much more is coming. This storm late tonight and Wednesday will be a rain producer and glad to see colleagues at NWS have now put up a Flood Watch This very wet storm will very near us by tomorrow afternoon and then race off to the northeasst. Colder air sweeping may cause the rain to end as brief wet snow 10PM-2AM in metro area. But, if there is any snow in the D.C. area it will gone by Thursday morning rush hour. Some chilly sun back for Thursday and into the weekend. There is NO RISK of a snow storm in the Washington area.
