A cold night Hey it's January
Overnight: Clearing, Cold, Diminishing Winds
Lows: 22-28 | Wind: NW 10-20 diminishing
Thursday: Sunny Early Increasing Clouds PM
Highs: 40-45 | Wind: S 5-10
Tomorrow Night: Cloudy, Cold
Lows: 28-33 | Snow: Any flurries NBD
The gusty cold winds have diminished. High pressure over us tonight and winds will diminish rapidly and it will be a clear cold night. Venus still bright in the west. Weather systems continue zip along with weak storms tracking to our north. These will bring in some clouds but right now only a very slight chance of any dreaded "wintry weather" and that won't be until Friday night and at that to the west of DC. A risk of some freezing rain and/or sleet in The Shenandoah Valley Saturday morning. But once again any storm with moisture will move to our west so Saturday is the next real chance for precipitation . . .and again snow lovers afraid it will be rain Saturday afternoon . BTW wind chills in the Dakotas today -25 and lower
