Special forecast note for western Maryland and West Virginia: Winter Storm Warning continues until Tuesday afternoon for the potential for 6" to 10" of snow. Oakland, Frostburg and Keyser are included in the warning area.
Temperatures will struggle to make it into the lower to middle 40s today, a sharp contrast compared to yesterday's highs near 60 degrees. Winds will increase later in the day ushering in a blast of cold air. Tuesday will bring highs just near freezing with wind chill factors in the single digits to middle teens.
Winds will diminish Wednesday as high pressure builds across the mid-Atlantic. Temperatures will moderate by Thursday and Friday with highs in the 50s by Saturday.
