Sky conditions will gradually clear overnight as a cold front passes to the east of the D.C. area. Overnight lows will fall into the 30s by early Sunday morning. A noticeable shot of cooler air arrives tomorrow with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Although cooler compared to Saturday, highs will still be above average for this time of year.

An area of high pressure will build Monday and Tuesday before giving way to increasing clouds and rain on Wednesday. Some models indicate as much as one-inch or more may fall from late Wednesday into early Thursday. Cooler air for next weekend and the potential for some wintry weather as an area of low pressure may develop and move up the coast.
