D.C. forecast: cool today, 60s tomorrow

Clouds will increase during the afternoon hours with highs in the 40s followed by a nice warming trend Tuesday and Wednesday.

This Afternoon: Partly to Mostly Cloudy, Cool

Highs: 45°-50° | Wind: West 10-15 mph

Overnight: Scattered Clouds

Lows: 30°-38° | Wind: Southwest 5-10 mph

Tuesday: Mostly Sunny and Beautiful

Highs: 60°-65° | Wind: Southwest 5-10 mph

High pressure will take hold of the mid-Atlantic for the next three days. Clouds will increase slightly during the afternoon hours as a disturbance moves to the north of the D.C. area. Temperatures will slowly rebound into the middle to upper 40s to near 50 degrees. As high pressure moves off the coast, wind direction will change to the southwest allowing for a push of very mild air tomorrow and Wednesday. Highs both days will jump into the 60s. A cold front will bring unsettled conditions late Wednesday and into Thursday along with a shot of cooler air by the end of the week.
