An area of low pressure will pass south of Washington this afternoon. Areas on the northern fringes will see periods of very light snow or rain. The farther south you are from Washington the more likely you will see just rain. And across southern MD and parts of VA south of Quantico and areas to the west...there could be steadier rain at times.
Precipitation will end tonight with partial clearing. Above average temperatures will return tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday before a blast of below normal temperatures arrive on Friday. In the meantime, we expect anonther storm system to bring rain to the region on Wednesday and Thursday.
