Areas of dense fog will be likely tonight but improving visibilities and weather conditions will develop tomorrow.
Tonight: Mostly Cloudy, Drizzle and Fog
Lows: 40s | Wind: SW 5 m.p.h.
Tuesday: Morning Fog, then Clearing and Warmer
Highs: Low to Mid 50s | Wind: W 4-8 m.p.h.
Wednesday: Mostly Sunny & Cooler
Highs: Mid 40s | Wind: NW 5-10 m.p.h.
A cold front will cross the area overnight. Unfortunately, it will not be strong (dynamic) enough to lift and push all the low level moisture out of the region. So, fog and drizzle will continue. In fact, the fog will likely become very dense again, lowering visibilities to 1/4 mile or less. A Dense FOG Advisory may be issued for parts or all of the area for the second time today. Morning fog is expected to impact the Tuesday morning rush. Westerly winds should do a number on the fog and we expect slow, but steady improvement through the morning. We are forecasting a favorable change in the weather to develop tomorrow afternoon with partly sunny skies and warmer temperatures.
Wednesday will be partly cloudy and somewhat cooler. But that won’t last long as another storm system will likely bring rain and milder temperatures to the area Thursday, Thursday night and Friday morning. Clearing skies are set to return during the day Friday. Right now the weekend looks partly cloudy and seasonably cold…highs in the lower 40s.
