The core of the coldest air so far this winter is over us now and tonight. The winds, keeping the chill in the teens are diminishing. But with clearing skies and lighter winds, most suburbs will easily drop into the 10s by Wednesday morning. We had some flurries and snow showers but the Lake Effect snow machine was really running today. By late week, back to above average temperatures. record low tonight is -3 from 1877 so don't worry about any records.
