As the rain ends later tonight, skies will start to clear and warmer temperatures will overspread the region. In fact, temperatures will rise slowly overnight and may climb into the 50s. During the day tomorrow, skies will be partly cloudy and temperatures may climb close to 60 degrees. Late tomorrow night a cold front will approach from the west and northwest. Scattered rain showers may develop and behind the cold front, scattered snow showers may develop.
On Friday, it will be partly cloudy, very breezy and much colder with temperatures falling into the 30s. The holiday weekend will actually feel like a winter weekend with highs in the upper 30s under partly cloudy skies. A few flurries are possible on Sunday. And on Monday, Dr. Martin Luther King Day, skies will be mainly sunny but it will remain rather cold.
