Enjoy the quiet weather interlude...the next storm is on the move.

OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear and colder.

Highs: Low to mid 30s| Wind: NW 5-10

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny in the a.m./ Increasing clouds p.m.

Lows: Mid 40s | Wind: NW 5-10

THURSDAY: Cloudy with periods of rain.

Highs: Upper 40s | Wind: SE 5

Clear skies are forecast tonight as high pressure builds back across the region. We expect sunshine to continue for a while tomorrow but look for increasing cloudiness later in the afternoon. Another area of low pressure is likely to bring rain back to the area on Thursday and Thursday night. I should point out there is a slight risk the rain could begin as a wintry mix on Thursday morning. Scattered showers will linger through a good portion of Friday.

Over the weekend, sunshine will be at a premium Saturday with mostly cloudy skies the mostly likely outcome. On Sunday, a cold front will cross the area, dropping temperatures and creating the opportunity for a few flurries. Another warming trend will develop by Tuesday of next week.
