Wednesday will feature a disturbance which will bring the chance for light snow after the morning commute closer to lunch time. Light snow will be possible through the afternoon before ending tomorrow evening. Accumulations should only be on the order of an inch with isolated areas closer to 2 inches. Most snow should accumulate on the grass and not the roadways as they should remain above freezing.
Sunshine and milder temperatures will return Thursday with highs in the upper 40s. Friday will be pleasant with highs near 50 degrees under sunny skies. A strong cold front is expected to push through the region early Saturday morning bringing much colder air into the Mid Atlantic for the weekend. At this time, high temperatures may not exceed the upper 30s Saturday and Sunday.
