High pressure will build across the mid-Atlantic overnight and into Sunday.  Skies will clear, winds will diminish and temperatures will fall into the middle 20s to near freezing in the District.

Sunday will be beautiful with highs approaching 50 degrees. As high pressure moves off the coast, milder air will move into the region Monday and Tuesday ahead of a potent storm system that will bring periods of rain on Wednesday.
