TODAY: Periods of rain. Becoming breezy and mild
Highs: Around 50° | Wind: S 5-10-15
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny, breezy and mild
Highs: 50°-55° | Wind: NW 10-15
SATURDAY: Partly sunny and pleasant
Highs: 49°-53° | Wind: SW 5
As a cold front pushes into the region today, areas of rain will become widespread. The steadiest rain will develop this afternoon. Skies will clear later tonight as the front pushes eastward to the Atlantic coast. We will be back to sunny and mild weather tomorrow as gusty breezes pull in much drier area. The pleasant weather will continue into Saturday.
And now Sunday...it still appears likely that Sunday will be cloudy, breezy and somewhat colder than Saturday. I am not yet at the point where I can say that precipitation is likely Sunday. Right now I will put the probability of precipitation at 40%....meaning there is a 60% chance it will remain dry. If computer model guidance continues its current trend, it is possible that by tomorrow morning, I could raise the probability of precipitation above 50%. Still to be determined is the type and volume of precipitation on Sunday. At present, rain would be the likely precipitaion type although a wintry mix or even some snow are on the table for discussion.
