Snow develops midday and continues through evening rush

TODAY: Cloudy and cold with snow or mix developing

Highs: 35°-41° | Snow: 1" Metro (Mainly Grassy Areas) Up to 2 + NW

TONIGHT: Snow ending, gradual clearing

Lows: 27°-34° | Wind: N 5-10

TOMORROW: Sunny, Warmer

Highs: 45°-50° | Wind: W/NW 5-10

Temperatures will remain below average today with highs only in the upper 30s. An approaching area of low pressure will bring snow, rain and a mix to the region...beginning around noon. Accumulations of an inch or so, mainly on grassy areas, are expected for the Washington area. A bit more snow is possible North and West while very little snow will stick South and East of Washington.It appears snow will be falling during this evenings commute.

Skies will clear overnight. Sunshine returns tomorrow and Friday with temperatures rebounding through the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. A strong cold front will deliver gusty winds, much colder air and scattered flurries to town on Saturday.
