Using the District as the center point, areas to the north may see a few glimmers of sunshine during the early morning hours as temperatures rise into the upper 30s to near 40 degrees. Clouds will overspread the region bringing light snow possibly mixed with some rain by mid afternoon. Snow totals will be very limited. The core of this system will rapidly pull away from the mid-Atlantic late Sunday night into very early Monday morning.
