TODAY: Sunshine followed by increasing cloudiness

Highs: 50°-55° | Wind: S 10-15

TOMORROW: Partly cloudy and breezy. 30% chance late day shower

Highs: 57°-62° | Wind: W 10-15

THURSDAY: Partly sunny, breezy and warmer. 30% chance pm showers

Highs: 66°-70° | Wind: W 10-15 gusts to 25+

Wind direction and speed will be key players in the weather over the next few days. Southerly and eventually westerly winds will bring much warmer temperatures to the region. Highs will reach the 50s today, the 60 degree mark tomorrow and close to the 70 degree mark on Thursday. The winds will be gusty at times and there could be a couple late day showers tomorrow and Thursday. But the best chance of rain this week will be on Friday with the approach of the next cold front. Along with the showers, an isolated thunderstorm is possible on Friday, as well.

Late winter cold returns for the weekend with highs back in the 40s and perhaps some Saturday flurries in spots.
