A Sunny Friday
Overnight: Local Dense Fog, Partly Cloudy and Chilly
Lows: 31-36 | Wind: Light
Friday: Becoming Mostly Sunny, Breezy, Mild Afternoon
Highs: 52-57 | Wind: NW 10-20 & Gusty
This Weekend: Sat. Sunny to Increasing Clouds. Sun. Cloudy Light Wet Snow to Rain south
Temperatures: 53 Sat. Near 40 Sun. | Precipitation: 60% Chance Sunday
The wet wave has pretty much moved east and about 1/4 inch of rain in most areas. The storm that hasn't even formed yet for Sunday is still there on paper or in the computer simulations of our future. The very latest trends (something I really look at call dProg/dT) are still keeping the center of any Sunday storm to our south and more and more indicating it will move fairly rapidly east rather than coming up the coast. The upper level pattern this winter has been for strong winds aloft generally moving west to east rather than some big wave amplyfing off the east and bringing big storms up the coast. I'm staying with what I wrote a bit earlier today. With the pattern we have had this winter and the latest trends, while there is a chance of some precipitation here (60% chance) things look very unlikely (10% chance) of any "major" storm. Anything that does fall could be some wet snow or wet snow changing to light rain but right now I'd put Adam's "Snow Excitement Factor" still at a 2 for Sunday and late tonight I'll keep it there. Look for Adam's update Fridat morning Coming up at 11 our new weather app including a one time appearance of Digital Bob on our 11PM news tonight
