High pressure building across the region has delivered a beautiful early spring day with total sunshine and gusty winds. Those winds will diminish tonight and with clear skies and dry air in place, temperatures will tumble. Early morning lows will range from the upper 20s through lower 30s…that prompted the National Weather Service to issue the Freeze watches and warnings noted above. Another sunny day is in store tomorrow with highs only in the middle 50s. On Wednesday, we’ll see a brief push of warm air ahead of the next weather system. The result will be partly sunny and warm weather and then during the afternoon, showers and thunderstorms will be possible as a storm system and cold front approach. Clearing and mild weather will return for Thursday and Friday.
