A slow moving area of low pressure will drift across the mid-Atlantic Saturday and Sunday. Clouds will quickly increase overnight as showers develop along with a few rumbles of thunder, especially in the mountains. Highs Saturday will be in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees with near repeat performance Sunday. The big story for the weekend will be the rain, with totals in some areas exceeding one-inch. Sunday will bring a better chance for a few imbedded thunderstorms. Dryer conditions are in the forecast Monday and Tuesday.
