Temperatures will continue to run about 15-20 degrees above the average high of 55 degrees for this time of the year. This means that it will feel more like late April and early May than mid-March. A warm and unstable air-mass will remain in place today and as sunshine warms us into the mid to upper 70s this afternoon and the atmosphere destabilizes we may see a few thundershowers this afternoon. The chance of a thundershower will last through the evening before gradual clearing occurs tonight. Winds turn northwest ushering in drier air for Wednesday and Thursday as high pressure builds overhead. Plenty of sunshine can be expected both day with highs in the mid to upper 70s. A shortwave will move through the region Friday and Friday night bringing with it our next chance for showers and even a few storms.
~ Have a good day!
