It was a foggy, misty, and in some areas, rainy start to our Saturday morning. But cold front is helping to redeem the day with clearing skies and highs approaching the 60 degree mark this afternoon. It is breezy however with some westerly winds gusting near 30 mph. A wind advisory for the far western counties will be in effect throughout the day.
Clouds are expected to increase this evening and a rather chilly night is in store with lows in the 30s. Sunday will be decidedly cooler with highs only near 50 as the winds persist and clouds dominate. That cool trend will linger through Tuesday with daytime highs struggling to reach 50. Thereafter, as has been our good fortune this season, a warming trend returns; look for daytime highs again in the 60s under mostly sunny skies for the latter part of the week..
NOTE: After a rather dry start to the year, the rains of the past two days have nearly wiped out the 2- inch rainfall deficit. That the earthworms have abandoned their burrows for the surface is proof of our good soaking! Enjoy your Saturday.
