An upper level disturbance and cold front have combined to produce a very windy day and a few late afternoon showers. Much cooler air will arrive tonight and it will remain rather breezy. Partly sunny, breezy and cool weather will remain in place through Wednesday. By Thursday, the day of the National’s Home Opener, high pressure will start to rebuild into the area. The result will be a mostly sunny day with lighter winds and slightly milder temperatures. By Friday, milder air will once again flow into the mid-Atlantic area with the feel of spring returning. Highs will reach well into the 60s on Friday and back into the 70s over the weekend. Right now, it looks like we will have great outdoor weather this weekend but high pollen counts will still be a problem for many people.
