High pressure and dry air gave us a  100% sunny day.  Tomorrow likely to be a day with widespread severe weather in the Great Plains but only some clouds here during the afternoon and a chance some showers north of DC. Any showers in the evening, while welcome will do little for the dry/dought conditions we have.  By Sunday into Monday southwest winds keep us quite warm and still no sign of general rain as the dryness and drought continues into late next week
