A cold front will continue to move through the mid-Atlantic states through this evening. The front has been preceded and accompanied by isolated showers…but most all of these showers have moved south of the metropolitan area. High pressure will quickly build back into the region tonight resulting in clearing skies and much colder temperatures by sunrise. Tomorrow will feature more sunshine than today along somewhat cooler afternoon temperatures. Friday will be a mostly sunny but seasonably cool day…highs will only climb to near the 60 degree mark.
Over the weekend, skies will remain mostly sunny. Highs will recover into the upper 60s on Saturday and near the 70 degree mark on Easter Sunday. Partly cloudy and pleasant weather is forecast for Monday. On Tuesday, the next cold front arrives with a chance of showers….and we need showers…no, we actually need a steady rain.
