That elongated area of low pressure…called a trough…continues to cover our entire region. With the jet stream positioned to the south, we will continue to see variable cloud cover and breezy conditions until that systems moves out. Right now, it appears tomorrow will be cooler than today with more clouds than today but only a 20% chance we will see a scattered shower or sprinkle. On Thursday, high pressure will start to rebuild across our area with slightly milder temperatures and much more sunshine. On Friday, skies will be sunny and a wind shift will allow temperatures to climb into the middle 60s. And finally….for the weekend. It’s looking like great outdoor weather with partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 70s on Saturday and close to 80 degrees on Sunday. There is still no sign of a significant storm system or weather pattern that would provide the steady, soaking rains we need.
