D.C.forecast: 70s today, 80s tomorrow

Clouds will increase this afternoon with highs in the 70s. Scattered overnight showers will bring much warmer air to the region Sunday.

Highs: 70°-75° | Wind: Southwest 10-20 mph

Overnight: Mostly Cloudy, Limited Showers

Lows: 50s | Wind: Southwest 5-10 mph

Sunday: Partly to Mostly Sunny

Highs: 79°-84° | Wind: Southwest 10-20 mph

High pressure will gradually move off the mid-Atlantic coast today allowing for a southwesterly flow to develop. Breezy conditions are expected with afternoon daytime highs in the 70s. A few scattered showers will be possible overnight with lows falling into the 50s. A noticeable difference in terms of temperature and stickiness will be felt Sunday and Monday with highs in the 80s. A cold front is expected late Monday into Tuesday bringing a chance for showers.
