D.C. forecast: sunny & breeezy Monday

Showers will diminish overnight as high pressure builds across the area. Expect sunshine and breezy conditions Monday.

Overnight: Scattered Showers, Gradual Clearing

Lows: 44°-50° | Wind: South 10-15 mph

Monday: Mostly Sunny, Cool and Breezy

Highs: 62°-67° | Wind: North 15-25 mph plus

Tuesday: Mostly to Partly Sunny

Highs: near 70° | Wind: Southwest 10-15 mph

A front will move across the area overnight bringing scattered showers to most of the area. Skies will begin to clear early Monday as high pressure builds across the mid-Atlantic. Overnight lows will be in the 40s with daytime highs Monday in the lower to middle 60s. Brisk winds from the north will make it feel a bit cooler.

Showers may develop late Tuesday into Wednesday with the approach of a warm front, highs will generally be in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Quiet and cool conditions remain in the forecast Thursday and Friday.
