High pressure will move off the coast overnight allowing for scattered clouds, diminishing winds and the potential for pockets of fog to form. Lows will dip to the upper 30s in the mountains to middle 40s in the District.
Clouds will increase on Monday producing a chance for scattered showers by late afternoon and evening. The amount of sun will heavily influence temperatures. Middle to upper 60s will stay in the forecast. With a change in wind direction, warmer and more humid air will overspread the mid-Atlantic on Tuesday. Highs will jump to the middle 70s with a better chance for showers and a few rumbles of thunder.
