The wave that brought today's welcome rain is near us now and as it moves off, the tailing area of rain you can see on live Doppler radar will swing across us overnight. Still some lingering showers early Thursday over the parched Eastern Shore and then drier air brings back the sun. Most signs still point to a significant storm forming in the Gulf late in the week and moving up the East Coast Sunday into Monday. The track still uncertain but sure looks close enough to give us some more rain in DC and some soaking rains to the east and those areas that are now in severe drought.
