It has been a spectacular spring day and if it’s still just a bit cool for you…just wait. High Pressure centered over our area will drift south and east tonight to a position off the Outer Banks. Winds around this system will become southwesterly and begin transporting unseasonably warm air into the region. As you will read below, day time high temperatures will steady climb through Monday. On Monday night, a cold front will cross the region with just a chance of scattered showers. Behind the front, more dry and mild air will affect the area with very little prospect of significant rainfall in the foreseeable future.
