You will need the AC once again today as highs will be about 20 degrees above normal.

Tonight: Partly Cloudy & Mild
Lows: Low 60s | Wind: SW 5-10
Tuesday: Partly Sunny; Not As Warm
Highs: Low - Mid 70s | Wind: NNW 10-15
Another summer-like day in mid April as sunshine mixes with some high thin clouds and temperatures soar back into the mid and even upper 80s. I wouldn't be surprised is a few areas south of town flirted with the 90 degree mark.
A cold front will approach from the west and cross the region later tonight. Unfortunately, this front will weaken considerably by the time it reaches us and I highly doubt that any moisture will make it past the Blue Ridge. Tuesday some cooler and drier air will filter back into the region but it will still be beautiful with highs back in the low to mid 70s.
A disturbance will pass mainly to our south mid-week and while I have included a slight chance of a shower in the forecast Wednesday I am not to hopeful that we will see it. The areas that have the best shot at picking up a shower look to be south of town.
High pressure will return for the remainder of the week before a system approaches for the weekend. This system will be closely monitored this week as we really need some rain and it may be our next best chance at some.
~ Have a good day!
