Yesterday's welcome rain was "officially" less than .1" in DC but many spots to the west6 did get at least 1/4".  General high pressure over us the next couple days so sunshine returning.  Still looks likely that a big storm will develop later in the weekend over the south and move up the East Coast, but the track is still uncertain.  It should be close enough to bring some rain to the DC area and likely some heavier rains to the Eastern Shore which is really suffering under a drought.  Chilly and windy early next week behind the storm
