Sunny end to the week but a potential wet start to the weekend
Tonight: Clearing & Breezy
Lows: 40s | Wind: Bec. NW 10-20 m.p.h.
Friday: Mostly Sunny, Breezy & Cool
Highs: Mid 60s | Wind: NW 10-20 m.p.h.
Saturday: Mostly Cloudy, PM Showers
Highs: Upper 50s | Wind: SW 5-10 m.p.h.
A cold front will cross our area tonight. Shower activity associated with this front is minimal, so only isolated showers are expected. And later tonight skies will clear as gusty winds deliver colder and drier air. High pressure will provide a sunny and cool weather pattern across the region tomorrow with gusty winds.
On Saturday, skies will be partly to mostly cloudy and with northerly winds, it will be unseasonably cool. Additionally, there is a 60% chance that we’ll be dealing with occasional rain throughout the day. This will be the result of a frontal system to our south and warmer winds aloft over-running the front producing the rain. This system will move out of the area early Sunday. Skies will become partly sunny Sunday but temperatures will remain somewhat below average. A modest warming trend will begin on Monday.
