Gusty winds and just the chance of a couple showers

A couple showers today could briefly lower pollen counts and fire danger.

Today: Becoming windy with more clouds and isolated showers possible

Highs: 65°-71° | Wind: W 15-25 Gusting to 35 mph

Overnight: Mostly cloudy, breezy and cooler with a few sprinkles

Lows: 40°-45° | Wind: WNW 10-15 mph

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy, windy and cool.

Highs: 57°-62° | Wind:: WNW 15-25 mph

An area of low pressure and attendant cold front will pass through our area later today. Before that...some sunshine, windy and mild conditions.With the frontal passage, we expect more cloudiness and a 30% chance of showers and sprinkles and continuing gusty winds. Much cooler air will move in tonight with a few sprinkles still possible.

Skies will be partly cloudy tomorrow. It will still be windy and somewhat cooler with highs in the upper 50s. Still breezy on Wednesday and a bit cooler with a 30% chance of a few sprinkles or showers. Conditions are expected to improve just in time for the National's Home Opener on Thursday. We are forecasting a partly to mostly sunny day with highs near 60 degrees. And on Friday, more sunshine across the area with afternoon temperatures reaching the middle 60s.
