Memorial Day holiday weekend is the traditional first weekend of summer.  Pools open, head for the beach and of course fire up the grill.  Everything still looking great weatherwise for the upcoming weekend.  Right now none of those afternoon showers showing on live radar and as a general ridge or high pressure build over us the next couple of days, the weather will be generally sunny and hot, first 90 likely this weekend and a bit more humid.  Southeast winds mean pretty good sailing around the Bay and cooler weather for the beaches.  Check it all out here There will be some morning fog or low clouds at the shore but that storm that was forming off Florida will stay well to our south and the only real chance for any afternoon summery thunderstorms I think is well to the west in the Blue Ridge or West Virginia if you are heading there. Otherwise sunny and watch that sun, about as strong and high in the sky as it gets here in DC.  Have a great weekend
