The temperature reached 90 degrees at Reagan National yesterday for the first time this season. Temperatures are approaching 90 degrees in places this afternoon with uncomfortable humidity levels. Later  this afternoon, showers and thunderstorms may develop. Showers and storms will become likely tonight. A few showers may linger into tomorrow morning but drier air will return during the mid-day and afternoon. Cooler and less humid conditions will lead to a sunny and comfortable day on Thursday. By Friday, the next system will arrive wirh increasing chances for rain and the chance of rain may continue into the weekend.
