Mother Nature will be showing us a preview of coming attractions today: June weather. Boundaries from last evenings thunderstorms may act as a focus for afternoon thunderstorms. A cold front will cross the area later this evening and usher in cooler and less humid air. But before all that unfolds it will feel like summer with partly cloudy skies and temperatures climbing into the 80s. Tomorrow and Friday will be nothing less than spectacular. We are forecasting mosting sunny skies, lower humidity levels and high temperatures in the 70s.

The weekend is looking really nice. High pressure will maintain its influence over our weather and will produce partly to mostly sunny skies with highs around 80 degrees on Saturday and Sunday.

With a dry stretch approaching, it is good to have received one to two inches of rain during the past couple days. We are still dry...in a rainfall deficit but we made some progress.
