The weekend is off to a great start but....
Friday: Mostly sunny and pleasant.
Highs: 75°-79° | Wind: NE 5-10 mph
Saturday: Mostly sunny and comfortably warm
Highs: 76°-81° | Wind: NE 5-10 mph
Sunday: Becoming partly cloudy, late day sprinkle possible
Highs: 74°-78° | Wind: E 5-10 mph
Major wow factor...stole that from a television commercial because it perfectly describes todays weather. We are forecasting a full day of sunshine with low humidity levels and highs in the upper 70s. Tomorrow will be another (insert your own superlative) day with sunshine, warm temperatures and comfortable humidity levels.
Sunday might be a slightly different story. An area of low pressure has drenched the Carolinas with some much needed rainfall for the past couple days. That system will be drifting northward over the weekend. Depending on which computer model you look at you can come up with several different forecasts. The truth is no one knows for certain what effects that system will have on our weather on Sunday. Some may try to convince you they do...but they don't. So I will take a middle of the road position and forecast morning sunshine, increasing cloudiness during the late afternoon or evening with a chance of a late day sprinkle or shower. I hope I am wrong and it stays sunny all day. I also hope the system doesn't turn west and keep us cloudy all day.
