The upper level low pressure system that has controlled the weather here and througout much of the east coast is in its final day. Atmospheric conditions are favorable for more, slow-moving thunderstorms this afternoon. By tomorrow, the atmosphere will begin to stabilze but there will still be a chance of isolated afternoon thunderstorms. Temperatures will climb into the middle 80s and humidity levels will make it feel like summer.

On Saturday, as high pressure builds across the region,, temperatures will rise through the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. There will be only a slight chance of an isolated thunderstorm. On Sunday and Monday, Memorial Day, the heat will be on. We are calling for partly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 90s with a 30% chance of afternoon thunderstorms.
