A sultry Memorial Day is in store...

Overnight: Showers Taper, Pre-Dawn Rumbles Possible -  Warm & Sticky, Patchy Fog

Lows: 65°-73° | Wind: S 3-6

Monday: Patchy Clouds, Steamy, Isolated PM Storms

Highs: 89°-93° | Wind: S 5-10

Tuesday: Partly Cloudy, Sticky, Scattered Storms Likely

Highs: 87°-91° | Wind: SW 4-8

As the hefty storms that dropped in form the northern & western suburbs diminish into the overnight another batch is dropping across SW PA and could impact out area in the pre-dawn hours. Otherwise anticipate a mainly, warm and muggy night with lows in the mid 60s in the suburbs to low 70s downtown. Patchy fog is possible too.

Tomorrow brings another hot and sticky day with highs around the low 90s and “feels like” numbers near 100°. Expect partly to mostly sunny skies and an isolated threat for an afternoon storm or two but nothing to ruin your holiday. A better shot for storms appears to be Tuesday ahead of our next cold front which will bring some refreshing air to town.

Heading to the beach tomorrow? Ocean City, MD will be hot and humid with highs near 80°, although the ocean is only in the mid 60s. Virginia Beach, VA will be low to mid 80s with a couple of storms likely. The Outer Banks will peak near 80° with a few thunderstorms possible as well.

On this Memorial Day eve we give thanks to all those who have served and or continue to serve – we are forever grateful!
