Tomorrow: Cloudy and muggy with showers and thunderstorms

Highs: 72°-78° | Wind: South 5-10 mph

A steady surge of moisture-laden air and numerous upper level weather features will combine to create periods of beneficial rain across the region for the next 48 hours. There is the potential for 1 to 2 inches of rain to fall with isolated higher amounts, especially in those areas that see thunderstorm activity. Steady light southerly winds will keep daytime temperatures in the 70s and nighttime temperatures mostly in the 60s.

By Wednesday, skies will become partly sunny. It will be warm and humid with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. There will also be a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms as a cold front crosses the area. Another stretch of beautiful weather returns on Thusday with partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid 70s. Partly cloudy and pleasant weather will continue into the weekend.
