The cool front that was the driver for yesterday's welcome light showers and this morning's showers to the east is now right over us. The clouds will hold in and a weak ripple along the front will bring one more batch of rain over us late this afternoon and evening.  The heaviest is likely to be for folks in southern Maryland and the Eastern Shore but fingers crossed we might see some need rain, perhaps a quarter inch in the immediate DC area.  Later tonight everything moves off and some gusty, cool northwest winds sweep in tomorrow and sunshine back right into the weekend.  Enjoy any rain, we need it.
