A slow moving cold front will keep the region under mainly cloudy skies with occasional light rain this evening, tonight, overnight and tomorrow. Late tomorrow afternoon or evening, when the front literally crosses the area, isolated thunderstorms could develop.
On Thursday, high pressure will start to build into the area with a gusty breeze that will draw in drier air. It looks to be a rather pleasant outdoor weather day. On Friday, skies will be mostly sunny and it will be downright pleasant with highs in the middle 70s.
Over the weekend, as the center of high pressure shifts just a bit eastward, we’ll see partly sunny skies with a modest increase in afternoon high temperatures. We are forecasting highs in the upper 70s on both Saturday and Sunday.
