Quiet conditions will prevail overnight as clouds start to increase. Lows will generally be in the middle 50s in the mountains and far reaching suburbs to lower 60s in the District. Mother's Day will start with a bit of sunshine, and will remain dry for brunch, however, skies will turn mostly cloudy by afternoon with a chance for late day showers. Highs will generally be around 80 degrees.
Much needed areas of rain and a few rumbles of thunder can be expected Monday with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Wet weather remains into Tuesday with clearing by midweek.
